IFS Training (Dept. of Agriculture - Laguna)
Integrated Farming Systems (IFS) Training - This is a six (6)-day intensive skills training course for farmers and farmer-entreprenuers on planning and management of an integrated and diversified farm. The course also covers agricultural projects ranging from crops (vegetables, fruits, rice/corn) production to aquaculture (Tilapia Hatchery and Grow-Out), livestock and poultry raising coupled with appropriate and sustainable technologies like vermicomposting.
Training Course on Vegetable Production
Fruit Crops and Vegetable Production - This is a two (2)-day course which highlights the production and management of backyard and semi-commercial vegetable project and high value fruit crops (Durian, Pomelo, Guapple, Calamansi, Papaya, Banana, etc.). The course focuses on land-use efficiency and area maximization like the potentials for mixed/intercroping of vegetables. Also includes production technologies on Urban Agriculture and FAITH Gardening.

Volunteer Farmer-Technician (VFT) Skills Development Training - This five (5) day training is designed to primarily for volunteer-leaders of People's Organizations (POs), such as Agrarian Reform Community organizations and cooperatives, implementing agricultural livelihood projects and micro-enterprises. It intends to improve the technical skills of selected famer-leaders as local change agents, on project management and technology.

Demo-Farm Establishment and Management - This is a six (6)-day training courses for Agricultural Workers/Technicians as support to their agricultural technology development and dissemination program. Demonstartion Farms aim to determine site specificity to technologies, hence, is considered as an effective modality on efficient technology transfer and commercialization.
Agricultural Extension Skills Development Training - This is a six (6)-day intensive skills training course designed for agricultural extension workers, which aims to equip them with appropriate technical and training skills for effective technology transfer.
Cattle and Swine Production - A two (2)-day training course which concentrates on production, management practice (feeding and health) and economics on cattle (dairy and beef type) raising and the selection of right breed of swine swine production (breeding and fattening).
Tilapia Production - This is a two (2)-day training course covering the culture, production and management techniques on tilapia breeding (hatchery) and fattening (grow-out) for both backyard and semi-commercial levels of production.
Community Organizaing Volunteers (COV) Training - This five (5)-day training is designed for potential community leaders and volunteer-member doing CO work. The course is primarily aims to equip them with the basic skills in community organizing process. Aside from facilitating community organizing, and organizational development process will be further sustained with the presence of COVs.
